Hi all, im new here, been lurking for a while. I was wondering how I could take audio clips from a DVD im watching on my notebook and convert it to MP3???

Snagit. You can record sound and video with it and save it how ever you like, I'm not sure if it is free though, my brother installed it on this computer.. Thats how half of my programs are, I just get them from friends, lol.

Howdy. I think you can convert it to .mp3 by using windows movie maker. I'm not sure though. If worse comes to worse you could always do a Yahoo! video search.

Im gona bump this...I need a program that lets me take various forms of videos (DVD and windows media player videos) and turn the audio in them into MP3's...the ones posted already only let do like 3 minutes at a time, I need unlimited... :shuffle:

Oh yea, if ya cant post a link to it, just tell me the name of it so i can illegal obtain it... :)

what do you mean details??? just download it... (http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=92&platform=Windows) and then open up the song, and go to file, cut out the part you dont want... and then render it to an mp3. and then do the same to the other end...

um.. why dont you just send me the song, and ill do it for you? ;)

well, thanks for your help and generousity, but ive got a few gigs of songs and a few Stevie Ray Vaughan DVD's i gotta get to MP#... :) :bang:
