How would you guys judge your taste in music? I would say that I'm about a 7.5 out of 10.

Bands I like: Rage Against the Machine, The Doors, The Strokes, Cream, The Libertines, Nirvana, Audioslave, Pink Floyd (no, not just Darkside of the Moon, I actually prefer Wish You Were Here), Black Sabbath, Sound Garden, Weird Al, and some others.

I usually don't get into musical trends, but I think I lose points in not having a wide variety in music. I pretty much on listen to new rock and classic rock. The only types of music I hate is country and 80's music.

What do you think about your taste in music?

How can you judge your own taste in music. Of course you are going to think ten because it's your favorite taste of music. Anyway, 10.

I rate my music a 1/10, because my music sucks and I'm a poser.

I'm at 5/10, I still have a lot to learn about music. For a few genres, i know i have a good idea as to where the quality is. The 5 points that I have are all more or less kickass, but the other 5 are for the shit that i just haven't heard yet.

10- because 100% of the music i listen to is music that i think is good.

THis question is stupid, how can we rate our opinions. There is no such thing as good music, but of what we think is good music to our ears. There will always be disagrement in each individual music taste.

But anways, I'm a 10 because "I Think" (keyword here is I think) I listen to good music.

Music for me is all about the emotion it envokes in the listener. If you listen to something and it strikes up an emotion in you, that music has served the purpose of music. So in that sense all of my music envokes an emotion in me, and if it doesnt, I dont listen to it. Im not qualified to judge the talent behind it, but I really dont care. I would give it a 9/10 becuase there is always new music for me to fall in love with
