Ok, i have the chance to buy one of these for about $500, and im told it only needs a new battery...im going to go check it out soon, but the thing is i cant drive for 5 months, and its a manual (which i dont know how to use....is it hard to learn?)...should i go for it guys?
Its a Nissan 300ZX
Heres a pic--same thing, but not the same car

and the reason i can get it for that cheap, is because i know a girl whos aunt was going to give it to her...and she doesnt want it
its either this, where i can go for engine performance, or a civic that i can rice out

I say make sure it drives with just a new battery. If so, jump on the offer.

Sooner you learn stick, the better. Some peaple learn it in a few minutes others it takes days to learn. Id buy the car also, great price.

It took me a good 2 hours to learn how to drive in traffic..About a week to learn how to drive in traffic without endangering others lol and about a month before you're totally comfortable with it and stop even realizing that ur shifting. It's not complicating if you understand how they work. Just make sure your teacher is patient! My mom was the worst - so I kicked her out and taught myself while she watched from the parking lot haha..

Yes, read the reviews (http://www.carreview.com/cat/automobiles/sports-cars/nissan/PRD_14244_1528crx.aspx).
Seems to be respectably fast and very reliable. Just ask a freind to teach how to drive a stick untill you until you are comfortable. It shouldn't take you more then a hour to learn how.

Those Z31's handle scary at the limits...They will bite you in the ass if you dont respect them...That was my experience with a non-turbo model...

My friend has a newer one, and its nice. I dunno what the difference is between the newer ones and the older ones tho. I don't think a stick was hard, but I knew how to drive one before I got my learners(practice with 4wheeler clutch) and its somewhat the same idea. Just starting out, a little gas and easily let off the clutch. Once you get the feel of the car, it doesn't take you as much time and you can do it more smoothly.
I would say go for it, but bring a battery out of another car and make sure it cranks up before you do. He might say it needs a battery, but he could have thrown a rod or something.

I'd give 5 bucks for it.... looks clean. Get it running and learn to drive. Any real driver knows how to drive a manual. Everyones first car should be a stick.

Buy it - it's a Z car!! I taught my wife how to drive a stick shift in literally 10 minutes. Next day she took my car across the state by herself.

stop bickering... you're both acting like children, if i might add the s4 isn't that fast.. and the s8 is a luxury car, it's weight is what screws with it's performance... neither car is all that fast... but i'd tend to think the S4 would be faster if both were stock, and to add in a 300ZX (Z32 not Z31) could kill both audi's... this is a Z31... the only Z i hate... it's ugly and boxy

So i proved what i drive by taking a pic and u slate it - u probably get the bus to work. Not many many frigging children drive s4 or s8.

i've taken the bus once or twice, but no i drive a 95' Z32TT, children from my hometown do... their parent's buy it for them... even then it's not a big accomplishment... neither audi look like it's in good condition, and the s8's paintjob looks pale... definatly not taken care of well.... which is why children shouldn't drive nice cars... they don't care for them

The picture was taken on a phone that is why the quality is down - i did say that, and i bought the car to use on long journeys as it is more comfortable than my everyday ride - your mum.

This topic turned into a debate about Audis. Lol the only car I drive right now is my dad's Lexus IS300 whenever we go somewhere. The other car I drive is my moms Durango, but she sucks, its no fun driving when shes around because I can't go fast.
