Okay, I want to edit a few of my songs. But I don't know how.
To be more specific I want to cut a few seconds off the beggining of some songs.
Any help would be apreciated.

audacity and krystal are the two most popular free music editing tools. i use krystal; you can get both of them free at download.com

Anyone have any programs that take vocals out of a song?

the closest i can think of would be precise equalization to remove the frequencies in which you usually find voices. you can mess around with a program called riffster which is meant for that, or use krystal. i think krystal has an equalizer that works pretty well. if you need to you can just use a media player. by the way i THINK vocals are usually in the 400-1500 range on the equalizer, so try that. if it doesnt completely remove them it should atleast reduce them alot.
edit: i forgot... if the reason you're trying to remove vocals is so you can hear the guitar better, you should download power tab (http://www.power-tab.com). you can get the tabs at http://www.powertabs.net

Besides Pro Tools, Cool Edit Pro i.e. Adobe Audition works the best.
