VOLTO! is an outstanding band. If you haven't heard of them yet, I'd advise you to get your ass on that myspace site and listen to them as soon as fucking possible.
Danny Carey from Tool plays in a jazzy band.....Pure insanity.
Enjoy.

The talent that comes to mind when people talk about Danny Carey is like no other drummer out now or from the past. At this point, please understand that I have not said he is the best ever, because not even he would say that, but as far as music that gets radio play, Danny is one of those drummer that people like and don’t know that they like. Their ear is not tuned for detail, but God bless em' for trying. Danny is one of the few rock drummers that should feel secure in his job, for he writes most of the music in Tool and he is very irreplaceable. Tool couldn't pick up on the best of jazz drummers to fill those shoes, because of the in-depth spirituality that none of us will understand, except for what we know from listening to the music. With all due respect, Adam Jones and Justin Chancellor could put wigs on two guys just as talented as they are and let them play on stage and none of us would have a clue. There's more than one reason for that, but its true. There isn’t another band I can think of where the.... Ok... Rush! Neil Pert is the same way in that band as well. But anyway, that’s what I think. Jon Theodore is riding that train as well if he keeps his career rolling strong and stays off drugs  .

I enjoyed that post, except for the fact that you said Neil "Pert"(Peart) was the only one who was talented in the band. Definatly not true, as Geddy and Alex have outstanding limits of talent. Some of Alex's solos are amazing and Geddy's talent is just unmatched.....He plays Keyboard with his hands and feet, plays bass, and sings at the same time.
