Nice choise, id go with the Bora, i saw one picture online, but I have also seen the wolfsberg edition in real life and loved it. Either way you win. Tell me how it works out.

Just make sure you get the 5spd manual no matter which you pick! The wolfie is pretty nice.

I had myself a 2.0l, 2000 or 2001 i dont remember. The air conditioning had to be flushed because of mold, the driver side window fell into the door, everything painted peeled after 2 weeks, my bumper ripped off on a parking bump, and various other less severe but also irritating things. This was brand new, kept it for 2 years before i dumped it.
Not to rain on your parade, but yeah.

My friend had the 2000 2.0 Jetta with a 5 speed. It is a nice little quick car. Go for the wolfsburg one.

Look at the VIN number...Some of the VW's were made in MEXICO . There is a certain letter I think at the beginning or something that will tell you where it is made. LOOK THIS UP.
The VW's that were produced in Mexico received the most consumer complaints about falling apart and have been noted as "LEMONS". I am not say all of them but most of them. It is better to be safe then sorry...

Quick?! That car has like 80rwhp lol. 115 at the crank
The good thing about a 1.8t is you can chip it and exhaust it and go from 180 to I think, 220-230 horsepower.

Yeah, i used to brag to my friends in the car that i was flooring it, when the engine was screaming but we were hardly moving forward. I think it had a 0-60 of somewhere north of 10 seconds?

I did not. I was talking to the guy who asked about Jetta's. I was using your story as an example. It's too fucking hard to know what someone means with only typing.

If the number on the VIN starts with 3 it is Mexican. LOOK HERE (http://www.autohausaz.com/vw-auto-parts/vw-vehicle-identification-numbers.html)
