theyre more than decent by far. I'm actually wearing a waking the fallen shirt now. though ever since shadows got hurt and had throat surgery he can't scream anymore, he's an amazingly talented singers. the reverend (the drummer) is unbelievable, and synyster gates (lead guitar) is a pretty nasty soloist.

i agree with anyone who says the stage names are pretty cheesy though.

As you can tell by my screen name, I am am huge fan of them.
Your argument that they are poser metal is a weak one. They ditched the makeup and stopped screaming so they could get out of the metalcore scene and form their own style of music. (Contrary to popular belief, Shadows still CAN scream, better than before. They just choose not to.)

The instrumentalists are extremely talented, there can be no denying that. Their only potential weakness is Shadows' voice, which I personally love.

So, my answer is Yes.

Music that everyone wants to hear? Oh, my friend, you are mistaken. a7x has lost many fans because of their decision to switch their style of music. If it was music that everyone wanted to hear, it would be higher than a 3 1/2 star rating on amazon, now wouldn't it?

As for their decision to go onto MTV, I am not upset. I dislike MTV, but when you're serious about your music career you want to make money. They're a very talented band, and it's about time they got some recognition, even if it involves MTV.

I've heard stuff by them countless times. From both "City of Evil" and "Waking The Fallen." Many people I know enjoy the music by them. Good for them.

I don't like it. I have certain musical tastes, a certain standard that has to be upheld in order so that a band is worthy of listening to. They don't cut it, I don't listen to it. I like to make a point of this because it gives me something to do. Instead of having my dick tucked between my legs and try to find the good in everything, I let it publicly hang out so every can hear what I have to say.

Lol, That's funny considering Disturbed's vocalist has one of the most powerful voices in rock, hands down. Metallic, Download their song "Darkness" or pretty much anything from their album Believe, and you could probably agree. Then you could comparere that to a song like this (http://stupified666.computed.net/) and see how talented he actually is. I'm guessing you've only heard stuff from their first CD, correct?

I used to kind of tolerate Disturbed.

I've heard all 3 of the studio albums. Then I heard a live performance. Might of been the venue, or the night, but it was one of the worst singing performances ever. He barely hit a single note in tune. This was right after the release of "Believe."

I supposed if you classify them as rock they decency level goes up a bit. They aren't horrible, but the tend to bore me a bit now. Basic kind of rock music. But I'll take them over Avenged Sevenfold any day. :D

Wait. I don't like something, so in who's view doesn't it "suck?" If I don't like something, I'm going to say it "sucks" if you don't like something you're going to say it "sucks." This band is part of what I hate about music today; emotionless, basic structured riffs, coupled with predictabilty.

i saw them live when i went to warpd Worst warped ever 2 if i might add but avenged sevenfold is terible live the lead guitarest couldnt even play the solos he made up and singer wasnt good either there are better bands out there

We probably didn't see the same warped tour, but Gates made every note when I saw him. Shadows wasn't spectacular, but he got most of the notes he needed.
