I just discovered sublime

I just heard some of their songs and I know I can't be the only one on here that likes them. (Seeing as people on this forum range from 8 year old wiggers to 13 year old emo kids, all the way to people with good tase in music) Anyone else like these guys?

They're OK. Some of their shit is good, but a lot of it is ripped off of older REAL reggae. And their most well-known song (What I Got) is a total Beatles ripoff, a bad one too. Listen to the Beatles song "Lady Madonna" and tell me if it sounds familiar. The words are different, but the melody is identical.
Anyway, I like a few of thier songs, but if you like the style I suggest you get some O.A.R.. Much better band with a similar style, check out their live stuff first. Their live album is 124092148 times better then their studio albums.

I really like Sublime, but I haven't checked out many other bands in similar genres like 311 or O.A.R. etc. So I'm not sure if they are great for their genre. Either way, I like the basswork quite a bit.

311 is ok they got some good stuff like beautiful disaster, down, amber,uncalm and i do liek there cover of love song,


O.A.R. is awosme you must check them out basically any song by them is good some of my favorite though are About mr.brown, hey girl, Heres to you,Crazy game of poker, King of the thing and missing pieces is pretty tight.

I am a fan of Sublime. I recently was turned on to a band called "Slightly Stoopid" and they remind me of Sublime. You might check them out.

sublime's pretty good, but the guitar work is less than great. good enough for reggae though. among their genre they're not the best, but they're pretty popular among the mainstream population. thumbs up from me.

if you like sublime then you should pick up Long Beach Dub All Stars. After Brad Nowell's death the remaining members formed this band.
