OMFG. This is by far one of the best CG movies i've seen in a long time. IT IS PURELY EXCELLENT!

You guys have got to watch this. Im dead serious. It would help if you guys played ff7 though. But who cares!?

I haven't seen a better CG movie. My only complaint is that, like most japanese movies, they left a lot of questions unanswered and it was really open to audience interpretation. I love that element but when it's overused it becomes somewhat annoying. I loved the game and I think if someone were to watch this film, not having played the game, they're in for one confusing experience. I highly recommend playing the game first before watching this movie.

The one scene when the two guys (red head and bald guy) are fighting in the city and the red head hits him and his glasses fall off. When they are on the ground they look so real. Sorry I don't remember their names, that would make it a bit easier.

Also when Cloud is driving on his bike to go to the house in the mountains, the road signs and landscapes looked so real. I was really blown away from how real some of the scenes were. Man, Squaresoft are gods when it comes to making CG stuff. I thought Blizzard was no. 1 but now this just takes the cake.

WOOT FOR FF7! Also the new FF7 game with Vincent looks amazing too. I think it is going to be like a Devil May Cry game. Hopefully they don't frig up the amazing FF7 world./\

This movie looks awesome but I havent seen it unfortunatly. I loved Final Fantasy 7 by far my favorite game of all time. Cant wait to see it.

FF7 is one of favs too. BUT...

I saw the trailer and some of the characters look a little gay while others are cooler than I thought in FF7. I am not big on watching Japanese trying to look like white people but I guess thats ok...

I refuse to watch any more of that crap simply because Square Soft or Square Enix is only good with GAMES not movies. I enjoyed FF 1-9 series because it always has been about-games. Spirits Within sucked big. I maybe wrong on this FF movie.

Yeah, having to read the english subtitles really detracts from this picture because you miss so much of the amazing animation details. To be honest I thought the movie was only so-so the first time seeing it, then I watched it a second time without reading the subtitles. The movie was much more enjoyable without the subtitles.

And Yuffie looked extremely saucy in the movie. I hated her in the game.

We assume they're Japanese because the movie is based on a Japanese game made by Japanese programmers for a Japanese audience, and released in Japan in Japanese with Japanese subtitles and can only be legally watched on Japanese region dvd players.

Amazing movie, best CG movie so far. If you're not into anime, see it anyway to see how advanced today's comptuer graphic artists are.

The fight scenes are out of this world!!!!!!!!!

If you're not into anime and Final Fantasy, you might need to watch it twice to understand everything. I myself am an anime freak and had to watch it twice just to understand what they were talking about.

It's a live action movie (real people) but it's entirely done infront of a green screen with computer generated backgrounds. It's based off an old anime too, but you dont need to know that to watch the movie.
The action scenes in Casshern are few, but they are amazing.

I jsut downloaded this and it is absolutley amazing!! I think someday when computer graphics are better, all movies will be done like this instead of any actors at all. The fight scenes were all jsut something you couldn't quite do and film in real life. It was all simply amazing!

that movie absolutlely kicked more ass than any action movie put out in the united states in the last 5-6 years. alot of the things that happened in the big fight scenes were very unrealistic, but that is what added to the sweetness of the movie. when they were fighting on the bikes, and had perfect handeling....very cool

I hated the final fantasy games (can't stand any turn based game). But I always liked the stories behind them. The movie had some great cg, and action. The story line was a bit confusing if you aren't into FF. Damn there were alot of blue eyed blonde hair japanese people tho.
