posting pictures?

how do i post pictures? i know how to get it hosted through image shack, but i dont know how to post it directly into a thread.
can anyone help?

you just have to put it between the image tags, the tags are put the url here . or you can click that house with the moon and just paste the link in there.

edit: wtf, how did you get your avy like that?

im slightly moronic when it comes to computers, i tried to put in a pic, nothin came up so i just left it the way it is, now i kinda like it.
