I've noticed a lot of people who have "So and So is my noob." in their signatures. Are you guys selling noobs on the black market or something? And if you are I'm a bit insulted that I've yet to be put up for auction.

Why are people owning noobs?

It is not an ownership; it is more like an adoption. Older members take a young n00b under their wing and show them the way of the forum, and keep them from getting in trouble.
