does the forum lag?

i have a T1 connection at work and a cable connection at the house....still the forum takes a good 30 seconds to load a page. does anyone else have this problem?

it lags for me too, got the LAN T1 at work running at full 100...and the cable modem away from work...but, the pages seem to lag as well...bandwidth is the answer I'm most often given...but, who knows...

It depends on the time of day I think, I have cable, but during the day it is slow. At 3 am in the morning... not too bad it seems, but then at that time I am running on E so maybe it just seems fast to my slow sleepy mind.

I have a lame 56k and my comp seems to load eBaums pages as slow as all the others, sorry i cant help

The whole internet lags when I have Kazaa running. So I have to close that little porn finder whenever I want to search the web.

when you have kazaa open, you have to have a fast enough processor to multitask on the internet.....i think the forum is lagging because it is a subdomain of ebaumsworld.com, therefore they share the same server.....maybe ebaums world is getting more traffic than before....that would explain the banner in the forums......

I was just about to make a thread about this.

The past week or 2 the forum has been very sluggish. Im on 600kbs cable so it doesnt have anything to do with that.

Faster host perhaps ebaum? More bandwidth?

Kinky Klown, I was interested in this topic because at the current time EBaums and the Forum seemed to lag. When I read your Kazaa statement I looked down at open programs and sure enough, Kazaa's open. Thanks for giving me the heads up on it! . . . although it should have been completely obvious that it's a memory guzzler. :) But for what it does, I don't mind it too much. :)
