Wire cages are made from iron ore, which has to be mined. Mining is a disaster for the environment.

I've got quite the yard and I started growing my own veggies to save money. I get huge harvests of tomatoes, peppers and cabbage.

@PlusCaChange Some guy just came in with the three volumes of the Divine Comedy (with illustrations), in two languages. Actually the first Dutch translation of the book, dated 1864. I paid him 30 euro for it.
