June, 2007 issue of MotorTrend.
Compares the handling of the following cars.
These cars are listed in their order of finish, per the "expert" testing of MotorTrend magazine:

1) Porsche 911 GTS - $115,700


2) Porsche Cayman S - $63,300


3) Lotus Exige - $65,100


4) Mitsubishi EVO IXMR - $37,424


5) Mini Cooper S JCWGP - $31,150


6) BMW 335i - $42,675


7) Honda S200 - $34,845


8) MazdaSpeed 3 - $24,550



9) Corvette Z06 - $70,000 <------ :- (



10) Honda Civic Si - $21,885

seems accurate enough to me, they varied it enough so they have the best handling cars from each segment i guess.

They bum Porsche as well, which is a crime in my eyes.

agreed.. im sorry.. there is no way that the FWD Hatchback has better handling then the Rx8....and the z06 i think would have better handles then the s2000...

Noway can a BMW 335i out handle any of these cars let alone a mini cooper or MS3, wtf are these so called "experts" smoking? LOL at the civic

I'm guessing that the Exige stands in for the Elise (as it's essentially an Elise with a roof, hence probably more rigid). They felt that they had to pick one rally bred turbo saloon. hence no STi. And maybe the Audi is a bit too dull for such a list.

Oh and the Mini beats the Beemer in the list.

Where are the lightweights? No 7? No SR8? No Atom?
