Yesterday, Comet Holmes shocked sky watchers with a spectacular eruption, brightening almost a million-fold from 17th to 2.5th magnitude in a matter of hours. The comet is now visible to the naked eye--even from light polluted cities--high in the northern sky after sunset: finder chart.

When I was addressing you, I was speaking of this Nibiru, otherwise known as Planet X, which doesn't exist. It's an old apocalyptic hypothesis that was thrown around some years ago. Predictions were made, they never happened, and so predictions have moved up, and guess what? They'll never happen, because Planet X does not exist. It was a suggestion made by some early 20th century scientists, when they observed a slightly messed up orbit of Neptune. They didn't know what could have caused it, so they said there was a crazy planet out there, messing with Neptune. But once we sent out Voyager, the orbit proved to be what it should have been, and there were no signs of significant external influence of another planet on Neptune, which fully disproves the original Planet X hypothesis.

There might large bodies somewhere beyond the Kuiper Belt, but they're not exactly apocalyptic, nor are they moving in. At the very least, absolutely no accurate predictions can be made at all, so you can't say 2012 is the date for anything world ending.

oh i get it, this nibiru is going to be at its closest distance to the sun in 2012, the year nostridamus claimed would be the end of times. makes sense now. im going to drop out of college, move to germany, live in the mountains and eat tourists. peace.
