Ah yes, incase you haven't noticed yet the revolutions official name is Wii. The system is backwards compatable with the gamecube. A large selection of NES, SNES, N64, Genesis and Turbogrfx games will be availabe for download. The controller is going to be amazing. Imagine going thrrough a creepy basement and using the motion sensor as a flashlight running low on batteries. Using it to aim a gun. Playing twilight princess with Wii's controller.

The system is going to be cheap too. Nintendos big wigs have already announced that Wii will go from $150-$200.

The games are going to be great too! There will be another mario game released for it which will be more like mario 64 instead of being like mario sunshine. There will be a Zelda game, Donkey Kong, Metroid, Final Fantasy is making a game for it, Another Super Smash Bro's game, Mario Kart, Animal Crossing a lot of other games. Wii will also have the support of a lot of 3rd party developers.

The WIFI connection is going to be awesome. Playing games like mario kart and SSB's online against others will increase their greatness.

So what do you think Wii is going to be like? Do you think it will be good, or do you think that it will bomb and turn out to be a mess?

Can't wait for it either, and from what I heard is that the Wii is going to have some gorey games. This means that the age old excuse of "Nintendo only makes kiddy games" will be null and void

That controller just made me splooge myself.
Yeah, nintendo has the best range of games and is, in my opinion, the most creative system out there.

For some reason I have a feeling that Horror games for the Wii will be incredible. It's looks like such an interactive system with the nunchuku controler. If there's another Resident Evil game I think that Capcom will be able to take advantage of the controller and make the game sick, possibly better than number 4.

There's also the game Sadness that's coming out. Looks like it's going to be a creepy game.

Wii is definately going to be Nintendo's comeback.

I'm still iffy about the controller, though. I'm going to wait to use it before I pass judgement.

And they're making a Ninja Turtles game. I can't wait to see what that's going to be like.

As much as I love Sony, and everthing, this might have to be on my list of things to buy IF it is going to be ultra cheap as anticipated. I've been playing my PSP a lot lately, and it really made me realize how much I've missed video games. Although, games is the last thing I use my PSP for these days, what with the new RSS feeds and shit like that.

If everything works out with this system, I think I might just have to pick one up.

if ur iffy about the controllers note that nintendo will be making the gamecube controller attachable somehow to the system as well.

not sure if it's only used for the gamecube games that u can play on the Revolution(i hate the name Wii, so im gonna call it by it's code name). Or for the games from past systems you will be able to download off the internet

If this game isn't released for the Wii, I will crack many a head.

Oh, and the Wii will completely dominate if 1) people stop focusing so greatly on graphics and 2) realize that the controller isn't a remote (you can't see the gyroscope), then this will sell very well.

I think a 'game' like that would fare very well with the Wii controller. It'll have a huge cult following.

I thought Zelda Twilight Princess was coming out for Gamecube??? Now it's bumped to the freaking Wiiii? That blows. That's the only reason I wasn't selling my stupid gamecube.

Anyone want a gamecube and a few games, cheap? pm me for paypal info.

It will be on both Gamecube and Wii. Wii version will have more options than the Gamecube one. (From what I'm told)

Twilight Princess will only come out for gamecube, but Wii is backwards compatable so you'll be able to play it on Wii.
