How to take screenshot from MPG or MOV?

Hi,

I have MPG and MOV files that I'd like to take screenshots from. How can I do this?

Using the printscreen button does not work as I just get a black rectangle.

Kind Regards,

fcmisc.

Save it to your computer, and edit it from there.

If you are getting a black screen on screen caps, right click on your desktop, go to properties, settings tab, advanced button, trouble shooting tab, adjust the "hardware acceleration" setting to none. That should fix the problem.

Or, he can just do what Jerky said and not have to download anything extra.

However, VLC player does rock - ive never had a video file that it couldnt play.
