My prank call on Skype

I got two calls in a row from this guy on Skype, the quality isn't good and you hear an echo because I can't figure out how to fix powergramo. Anyway, here it is:

By the way it takes a really long time to download, it took me about 6-8 minutes.

Mine says unknown on a cell phone, but 0000123456 on a landline. I don't have skype though, just other people that do and call me. BTW, this isn't the place to ask questions like that...

I get 0000123456 on a landline too, haven't tried calling a cellphone yet.

By the way I've tried doing some prank calls on Skype, but there's one thing I can't get around.

In order to record the call you're making on the computer (and record the sounds from soundboards to send over a call), you need to set your computer's audio-in source to "What U Hear", but then that also records what comes back from the prank victim and sends it back as an echo. Is this what you're getting and what you're doing? I was hoping someone could figure out a way to get around this, cuz I've been dying to try out pranking someone over Skype. :P

Phoneline to Skype - Not Possible
Phoneline to Phoneline - Off-Topic

Point is, it costs money to call regular numbers from a skype account under normal circumstances... BUT they're having a promotion -> Free Skype to Phoneline within Canada and the US until Dec. '06. Example my frenchie friend up in Quebecland can call his Californian surfer friend guy, and vice versa.

this is being abused for prank calling. :P hence the subject of the thread

can you change your voice in real time using it because i have seen some pranks like that. Or was that a sepereate program.

That would be a seperate program that'd change your input/output in real-time. (though I don't know of any)
