Ipod Question: Transfer files to computer, earn porn

I have a 30gb ipod right now. Right now I want all my stuff in my ipod to be kept in my computer so I can start experimenting with my ipod.

So is there any good programs that transfers files from your ipod into your computer?

One more thing I should add. Whoever correctly answers my question gets a free key code to 30 minutes from a porn site.

K dont want the porn lol but i can try to answer your question

Theres a program called PodPlayerPackage, it can copy the stuff off your ipod but then you gotta load them into your iTunes later. There are other programs that are better and can do it directly into iTunes most likely but those will probably cost money.

My computer
Go to your Ipod device
Copy files from the device to where you want them

I think that works.

I'm pretty sure that when you hook up your ipod, when the lil ipod button appears in the bottom right corner of itunes, click that, and it says manually manage songs, instead of upload automaticly, you should be able to fuck around with your ipods library and most likely copy it to your library or something like that.........CODE PLEASE!!

No, no, you're all wrong. You don't need any programs, and you can't do it from iTunes. However, it is easy. I'll brake it down into simple steps:

1. With the iPod plugged in, right click on the iPod icon in iTunes, and go to iPod options.
2. On the window that comes up, check Enable disk use, and then click ok.
3. Go to My Computer, and your iPod should show up there as a removable disk. Open it up.
4. You'll that there are no songs visible here. This is because all of your songs are set as hidden. To view hidden files, go Tools and then Folder Options. On the window that comes up, go to the view tab. On the list of check boxes, check the box for Show hidden files and folder.
5. With Show hidden files enabled, there should be a new folder in your iPod called iPod_Control. Go into to. Then go into music, and you should see a bunch of folders in numerical order starting with F00. Your music is in these folders. For unknown, stupid reasons, the iPod changes around the file names of the songs to random combinations of letters. However, the tags are still the same, so that if you copy them to your computer and load them into iTunes, they'll retain their names and what not.

There you go, easy enough. Oh, and you can keep your code. I'm not that desperate.

but be careful with this, the files are hidden for a reason, cuz those are the things that run ur ipod. dont delete anything that isn't. i find http://www.download.com/Free-iPod-Vi...ml?tag=lst-0-1 to be a lot easier and quicker. all you do is download it, click "find my ipod" when it does select all the songs and click transfer. then all of your songs will be put onto ur comp.

Not in the music folder, which I directed him to. Only songs there.
