Wesley Willis soundboard!

Hi! We made an original soundboard for Wesley Willis on my site. This is also the collective site of several original bands in Savannah, Georgia.

That pic of The Hoff is a bit worrying

Soundboard's all right. A bit small and some clips will be hard for the person on the other end of the phone to hear. An ok effort though.

This is a better link to the soundboard, it comes up a lot bigger this way. I know you linked to the homepage to advertise your site, but the thread title is 'Wesley Willis Soundboard'.

We shrunk it because its faster to trigger (time is lost dragging a mouse around!) But you can definitely use the bigger one if you need to.

Actually I changed the link when I built the site in frames and didn't realize that link was still in the site. Good work on finding it. Here's an additional link, if its helpful to you, from its old page: http://www.sofro.com/wes.html (medium sized)

Only the hello's and "Its the Plumber" are hard to hear, but what I've done is said "Hello!" and when they say "What??" I trigger "hold on a minute hold on" as if I (Wesley) is getting closer to the phone. Anyway, its hard getting clips of Wesley that dont have midi keyboard behind them! haha.

We're not professional soundboard makers. Sorry. We're musicians and we love WESLEY!

That's okay, nor am I a professional s/board maker. It's nothing personal, I just call it as I see it.

lol It' is true that moving the mouse a shorter distance at a given speed will take more time than a longer distance. That said, it's also true that when buttons are bigger, they are more easy to see and thus can be found and triggered faster. In experience soundboards are much easier to use when they're full screen.

I hear what you're saying about the right clips being hard to obtain without background noise etc. Sometimes it's either a case of choosing another character or making the best of what you can get - a 'Shit or get off the pot' type situation, if you will.

Yes picking the right character is important. Most of those clips came from Wesley's interview by Howard Stern. I like Wesley Willis because everything he says is crazy. So unfortunately you can't lead people along too far because they hang up out of frustration. But it ends up being really funny! But what do you expect, from a schizophrenic homeless guy gone musician!??
