Running from Cops

We all know that those "Wildest Police Videos" never show anyone ever getting away from the cops, but I was wondering, what percentage of people that run do you think actually do get away? At least for the time being. Once the license plate is run and your info comes up you're usually screwed.

Has anyone ever run from the police?

I've run a few times on foot from the cops when I've been caught blazing in public and I've got away every time. I think you're pretty much fucked though if you're in a car.

Twice in my life have I ditched a cop who was starting to follow my car...ie, I blew through a speed trap, but was going fast enough that I was able to dodge off the road and loop back around before he could see where I went.

I saw him pull out, but lost him before he could get behind me.

As for high speed chases, it is impossible to outrun a radio signal. Once they get a description of your car/direction, unless you are on a motorcycle and can go fast enough and maneuver and change directions often enough, and then disappear into the woods or a garage, etc, they will not give up the chase.

I've always wanted to get in a police chase on a Super Motard just because they could never catch one. It'd be interesting though.

yea i personally know someone who ditched his car and fled into the woods and got away. its most defiantly possible

I have never been driving when running from the cops but have been in the car whilst running numerous times. just recently my friend who has ran from the cops before got caught doing 190 kmph and now hes losing his license for 28 days. So to answer your question, yes it is posible to run from the cops but theres a high chance that you will end up geting but fucked!

one night a few years ago I stole some candy and the cops were chasing me. two of them. the chase was on foot and it last about fifteen minutes. I got away when I hid behind a trash bin. Found out later it was the kid's dad and uncle who were chasing me in police uniforms because I took her bag of halloween candy

I've had friends run and get away. It all depends on what you were doing and who the cop is.

on foot it is easy as hell. and fun as hell too.
because they are pretty much all fatties.

but with a car then fuck no. probably less than 10% get away for the rest of their lives. (w/o being picked up later because of your license plates)
