Go see for yourself:

As for the wolfhound, well, where i live is irrellevent. ALL Dog breeds worldwide are registered with the Kennel Club. They don't list it. So either it is a cross breed (not a pure breed) or it doesn't exist. Maybe you can point me to the breeders of a Brazilian Wolfhound web site????

PS: In order to prove your knowledge of the Wolf, you posted a picture of a Coyote.

Here's the page you got it from:
http://advocacy.britannica.com/blog/...becomes-urban/

I don't know what you're on about mate, but of course the filename says "wolf." It's just shortened from Brazilian Wolfhound, because who wants to type that out for a filename?

It might be a hybrid, but it's what the poster was talking about. It's a fairly new breed (first recognized by the Brazilian Kennel Club in 1983), and as you can see, it's a virtual clone of a German Shepherd. Dude, I think I know what I'm talking about. These dogs have an average height (at the shoulder) of 35" and an average weight of 145 lbs. Their loyal, quiet, and very vicious. I heard once that a single Brazilian Wolfhound can kill an entire herd of deer hunters. Basically it's an awesome dog. If you like German Shepherds, you'd love these things. My local pet store sells them, and the lowest price I have seen them going for is $15,000!

You can believe what you want, but if you want to see what I'm talking about, you can check out this breeder in Kansas City:

KC Brazilian Wolfie's

Like I say, I'm not arguing with you. But the animal in the pic IS a Wolf. No doubt about it. It's a Timber Wolf. You also posted a Coyote claiming it was a Wolf. I'm happy to talk about dogs because where I live there a quite a few breeders of German Shepherds, English Bulldogs or Staffordshire/English Bull Terriers. I love dogs to bits and have had a fair share.

Like i say, dogs World-Wide, HAVE to be registered with the Kennel club. Again, that isn't in doubt. So your saying this Brazilian dog is recognised by the Brazilian Kennel club? Got a link? A proper link i mean, and not one people get banned for.

Something as simple as that would clear it all up for me, because no-one I know who breeds show dogs has heard of them, and they most definitely would have if they have been a recognised breed since 1983.

How many people did you ask about the Brazilian Wolfhound? Maybe you should rethink your friends' credibility.

They're a pretty rare breed though. Here's another pic taken directly from the Brazilian Wolfhounds of Southeastern Canada Club website:

Obviously it's not a wolf. You can tell by the curvature of the nose and the color of the hair around the ears. For comparison, here's a wolf:

LOL. You posted a pic of a Timber Wolf:

and a Jackal:

You are now either taking the piss or drunk.

Just post a link to any site, official or otherwise to a Brazilian Wolfhound breeders or Kennel club web site. Even a Wiki page would do.

PS: One of the people I referred to was once a Judge in best of breed at Crufts. And please check your file names before posting.

You're good. I'll give you that. Persistent bleeder. LOL

I give up. People like you are impossible to please. I have provided you with the names of two reputable organizations that deal with Brazilian Wolfhounds, and I have provided multiple pics showing the difference in this breed and the wolf. If you can't accept that you are wrong, then there's nothing else I can do for you. I just hope that whoever was asking about the Brazilian Wolfhound originally has been helped by my contributions. I'm sure you didn't help anyone.

Now, we have to go back to posting pics of adorable puppies.

Correct. The last pic is the mysterious Brazilian Wolfhound Timber wolf. ROFLMAO. He's on the wind up to lose friends for some reason. Maybe he's on the rag?
