It's a fairly new breed (first recognized by the Brazilian Kennel Club in 1983), and as you can see, it's a virtual clone of a German Shepherd. Dude, I think I know what I'm talking about. These dogs have an average height (at the shoulder) of 35" and an average weight of 145 lbs. Their loyal, quiet, and very vicious. I heard once that a single Brazilian Wolfhound can kill an entire herd of deer hunters. Basically it's an awesome dog. If you like German Shepherds, you'd love these things. My local pet store sells them, and the lowest price I have seen them going for is $15,000  !You can believe what you want, but if you want to see what I'm talking about, you can check out this breeder in Kansas City: KC Brazilian Wolfie's

A proper link i mean, and not one people get banned for. Something as simple as that would clear it all up for me, because no-one I know who breeds show dogs has heard of them, and they most definitely would have if they have been a recognised breed since 1983.
