i've been working with animals for about 18 years now and i can tell you for sure that more than one of those original photos have been "tweaked".
Irish wolfhounds, mastiffs, st. bernard's, great danes, newfoundlands...I know i'm missing a few, but those are your bigger breeds. I've worked with countless dogs, and have been to many many many dog shows. The largest dog i've ever seen has been an irish wolfhound. The heaviest dog i've ever seen was a mastiff. I don't remember what kind of mastiff it was, but I do remember that it was 235 pounds and it was owned by this old dude that was about 5 feet tall. |
