The game is no longer pay to play. This is the only private server, and Sega itself turned a blind eye on it instead of taking legal action. Hell even some of the GMs from Sega play this.

Oh, did I mention you can get NPC trainers to play as characters like Sonic?

Downloading now, I've heard only good things about this game. Which server (or whatever it's called) do you play on?

And how's the game? Grindy? What's the level cap?

The level cap is 200. It's not as grindy as most online games, but is still a bit grindy. But the gameplay makes up for the grind. As well as hunting for rare items. Most of the people play on the Skyline server.

Will do man, thanks for the heads up. After it's all patched up and what not I'll come back and give my first impressions.

hellz yeah i finally got it to work im so giddy with excitement. this game kicks so much ass. AND they have episode III and IV?! shit i didnt even know they existed. server's populated, nice people, graphics are a bit on the pixelated side, but i really dont care. no hacked mags it looks like so far. im really going to enjoy this. thanks so much handsock

No problem, but if I suggest you change your graphic settings because its no where near pixelated on my screen.

no, its probably because you're used to playing PSO on the gamecube or dreamcast. the blur of tv's kinda reduced the jagged edges of models and such.

Can you give me a quick start up guide? Kind of confusing on the site as to what I should do first as far as downloading clients and patches etc...

umm...register....download the blue burst client from the website......install game....open game...let it update.....the shortcut might lose it's path when you do this, so before you open the game again, you'll have to add the directory line to the path to the file. or shortcut whatever. that's pretty much it.
