"Please excuse Tommy for being absent yesterday. He had diarrhea, and his boots leak."

"Please excuse Jennifer for missing school yesterday. We forgot to get the Sunday paper off the porch, and when we found it Monday, we thought it was Sunday."

"Sally won't be in school a week from Friday. We have to attend her funeral."

"Please excuse Mary for being absent yesterday. She was in bed with gramps."

This reminds me of something. Lol

My dad is a case manager for a middle school, so he handles placement of students, and IEP (Individualized Education Plans)

This is a letter he got from a parent.

"I would like to schedule a meeting to discuss my son's eggplant."

Guess we already know that kids placement -_-;
