Heisman

Who do you guys think will win the heisman?

The finalists are:

Alex Smith (QB, 11-0 Utah) - 2,624 yards, 28 TDs 4 INTs 563 rushing yards, 10 TDs

Matt Leinart (QB, 12-0 USC) - 2,990 yards, 28 TDs 6 INTs, 3 rushing TDs

Reggie Bush (HB, 12-0 USC) - 833 rushing yards, 6 TDs, 478 receiving yards, 7 TDs

Jason White (QB, 12-0 Oklahoma) - 2,961 passing yards, 33 TDs, 6 INTs

Adrian Peterson (RB, 12-0 Oklahoma) - 1,843 rushing yards, 15 TDs

I'm still not sure who I want, but I'm sure everyone else here does.

Leinart definitely. This is the second straight year that he has taken a USC team and gotten them to BCS bowl.

I think they will win their second straight championship, and this time it won't be a co-championship, even though the BCS screwed up, Again.

Since both Leinart and White statistics are similar, I think you have to look at one determining factor: The Texas game. During the Texas game, White couldn't come through for his team. Leinart has been consistent all year long and has kept his team ranked as the best team in college football. He's done all he could, and that should be enough for the Heisman.

Peterson.

Nice job by a fucking soph.

Plus consider the fact he did it all against the nations best competition.

Yeah I want Peterson to get it...but it'll probably be Leinart.

I voted for Smith, because Oklahoma and USC would have done well with players even of a lesser caliber than those guys: Utah wouldn't have done shit w/o Smith.

I voted Alex Smith by mistake. Not saying Smith is bad, but what has Utah faced this year?

I'd go with Jason White of OAK.

As much as I hate to admit it, I think White will get it again this year. I WISH Leinart would get it, but he would be a close second.

I'd give Bush another year before getting the Heisman. I remember watching him when his high school, Helix, used to play against mine. He'd always be on the news and news reporters would seriously follow him for every game. That guy is amazing.

He is a freshman, not a sophmore. Even if he doesn't win it this year, he's a lock for it next year and maybe even the year after that.

Even though I think that Peterson should win it, he isn't going to, Leinart will.

I'm kinda bummed Cedric Benson didn't get a look...but he bombed in the big game v/s OU...whereas Peterson ran for 150+ yards.

I've gone for Leinart...I think he'll just edge it. White and Peterson will probably split too many votes for either of them to win.

Reggie Bush? Next year will be his year!

Yo Timmy Chang is awesome, he's legit.
Did you see the Hawaii bowl last year? That was the shit.
Dunno why they left him out, maybe cause his name doesn't ring a bell.
Well he's gonna make it big anyway, first Asian QB in the NFL.
