Slo-pitch

All that talk about baseball got me thinking,
anyone play slowpitch and what are some of the rules where you live.

We have slealing and sliding so forth.

I've heard of places that have 4 strike and 6 balls, Mat Ball, that kind of stuff.
I'd be interested in seeing what eveyone else gets to play.

Slo-pitch (at least how we play it) is underhand, with certain requirements for how high the ball must arc, etc.

I play intramural softball (slo-pitch)...most of the rules are pretty standard apart from some that make a little sense (start off at 1-1 to save time), and some that are annoying (only two foul balls allowed after 2 strikes, for example). They also don't allow baserunning leads/steals, there's a certain line along the 3rd base line where if you cross it, the play at home becomes a force, and in our co-ed league we have to have a guy as a catcher.
