Just today, I was on msn.com (my homepage), and the "fat dance" was a feature on the Today Show. So, I was able to see the story on MSN Video. The video was made by 19-year-old Gary Brolsma in New Jersey. The song is "Dragostea Din Tea," which is a Romanian pop song. As said on the Today Show, Gary was also featured on VH1's "Best Week Ever." Of course, no one with a set of testicles watches that channel. Anyway, Matt Lauer also made a reference to another eBaum classic, the "Star Wars Kid." But when they showed the video on the internet, they used a screen from eBaum's rival website, ***************, rather than giving this site credit.

And even after Matt Lauer and Katie Couric were still bobbing their heads to the song. Matt even labeled the song as "catchy."

Gary, himself, actually left this message on newgrounds:

Did you even read the thread? It's a romanian pop song, and the name was mentioned. If you're too lazy to do a google search for the lyrics then don't expect us to help you.

FATDANCE i KNOW the romanian shit-ass song you talk about and it sure as hell aint that song.

i cant hear the lyrics clearly i only hear and recognize the bass so i cant look it up....

are you talking about "riding my pony" by ginuwine, the one in the bachelorette video? If so, it's one of the top 10 worst r&b songs ever.. i wouldnt even consider it that it's so.. weird.
