It is quite simple, scientists discovered primary "scents" much like colors several years ago. By mixing combinations of the scents you get the wanted smell. It's a new technology, but it works very well so far.

Fools, there is allready smellivision and tastevision being developed. Yes Ebaums made a crappy april fools joke, the joke was not the technoligy of the smellivision, it was that they would actually be using it for such assinine purposes as the farting preacher etc... It is acutally still in final developement, they cant get past the 'shit' stage. I suspect it would be a later addition to Internet M2.

Some company developed ink cartridges that have tastes in them, they wrote a program that changes your printer then you put the cardriges in and load your printer up with sugar paper and print tastes!
