That's pretty easy, all they do is sum up the digits in the numbers you provide until they get a single number, then subtract from 9... so for example:

4679

becomes 6974

6974-4679 = 2295

so you circle a 2, and enter 295

2+9+5 = 16
1+6 = 7

then 9-7 = 2 and voila, you have the number picked.

Nothing other than a clever math trick

I chose 3971, I then got 7193.

I then took 3971 from 7193 and got 3224.

I chose 2 and enerd 423.

It said i piccked 9. I picked 2!

just thinking that's why it messed up
