Purchasing power has dropped to an all time low in recent years...
Thanks, Obama!
Fixed it for you.

Looks like Trump is getting the job done for us. How nice to have an alpha male in charge of the country for a change.

So it was better when unemployment was high then?
Why? Is it too much to ask from Trump to have both low unemployment and decent purchasing power? It's funny to see that even hardcore Trump supporters have such low expectations for Trump.

Unemployment dropped to 3.8 percent, its lowest figure in 18 years. The unemployment rate is now solidly below what most economists consider sustainable in the long term, and is likely to keep falling, some analysts say.

"You have to go back to 1969 to find an unemployment rate lower than May's, and with job growth running much faster than the rate of increase of the labor force - participation remains resolutely flat - unemployment is set to keep falling," Ian Shepherdson, chief economist at Pantheon Macroeconomics, wrote in a note.

🤣🤣🤣
Good luck in the next election...
Americans may have jobs but they're getting paid less while having to pay more.

Purchasing power has dropped to an all time low in recent years, and is also at a historical low. Wages have not made any gains, and more people are getting paid less. The power of the dollar has been dropping. Meanwhile the price of food and goods is on the rise, and is about to spike even more with fuel prices rising and tariffs.

We got more jobs, but we're getting poorer by the day.

"The jobless rate held at 4.1 percent, matching the lowest since 2000, while average hourly earnings rose a more-than-expected 2.9 percent from a year earlier, the most since June 2009."

Uh yeah....

2.9 would be great if prices of goods and cost of living weren't rising at a much faster rate. And with fuel prices increasing and tariffs it's gonna go even higher. At the same time the dollar has been slipping under Trump. Right now Americans purchasing power is completely nose diving. You'd need to give everyone a huge pay raise or put someone in charge who can undo all of Trump's fuck ups.

Inflation is at 2.5%. That's hardly a dramatic increase. The dollar's value vs. The euro and yuan have been pretty steady over the past 3 years. Rising fuel costs are due to an improving economy. Tariffs arent going to impact the avg consumer much in the US.

So, you are in favor of the US getting fucked over by other countries who have been imposing tariffs on US goods for decades, a stangant economy with high unemployment, low wages so you can save 20 cents on a gallon of gas and pay an extra 20 dollars for a washing machine?

It really doesn't matter what Trump does...if the economy is kicking ass, it's a problem with purchasing power. If the economy was in the tank (like it was all 8 years with Bongo) it would be that. Hell, if he cured cancer the libtards would be bitching because he would be putting all the cancer careworkers out of a job. Face it....they just hate Trump. Or more accurately, they hate anyone who isn't Hitlery Klinton or a libtard demotwit. Let them whine. It doesn't seem to bother Trump or anyone in his administration...and it further alienates the true democrats and independents and it continues to sink all of their lapdog fake-news media outlets.

CAn you say 4 more years?

lol @ "rising fuel cost are due to an improving economy". I think maybe you've once heard that sometimes high demand in fuel comes from high consumerism. But that's really not what's going on right now. Not even close. I don't think you understand what's impacting fuel prices.

And tariffs aren't going to impact the average consumer? Lol are you serious?? Aluminum alone is already 22% higher since the announcement of the tariffs. It's already costing us 22% more.
