ITT: People who have never researched heme, IGF-1, NeuG5c, hormones, etc. that are inherent in all meat and give you cancer. Not to mention cholesterol and saturated fat and all the other issues with meat.

Or the fact that hunter gatherers only live into their 20's and 30's so any research on their diet doesn't say much and most of their health probably has more to do with their active lifestyle and no processed sugar.

Edit: lol, just read the article and it's actually about the bacteria they get from their filthy environment, and baobab fruit - nothing to do with meat really.

Except all societies TODAY where they have a diet that's close to hunter-gatherers, and similar lifestyle, they all live longer, have higher life expectancy, lower risks of heart disease and alzeimer, and have the lowest levels of cancers in the world.

OOPS

Should have looked it up first.

Like this place in Italy where their diet is heavy in non-processed lamb, fish, olive oil, and fruits:

What you mention is cavemen, who died young because they had no antibiotics, and would just die from a cut or contaminated water.

And this is why you're the last person who should be talking about diet and health, when you clearly don't seem to understand human biology, and biology in general. You end up not understanding what you're reading.

Health conditions before Columbus: paleopathology of native North Americans

Data on health in ancient societies come mainly from human bones and teeth

Studies of skeletons suggest that iron deficiency anemia was widespread in native North Americans, probably due to their overreliance on maize, which is low in iron, in their diet

The most frequent causes of infectious diseases in prehistory were common microorganisms such as staphylococcus and streptococcus

Archaeologic remains show that native groups were not living in a pristine, disease-free environment before contact with Europeans
