It's really about getting the right audience. You need to target people with no understanding of evolutionary biology and little experience of real life. Liberal arts majors in large universities would of course be the ideal place to go but saturation point there has just about been reached.

Frustrated, poorly adjusted women seeking an outlet for their maternal instincts are also good material.

Well stated. It's easy to be a vegan in today's world until you and your soccer teammates survive a plane crash in the Andes.

It was a serious answer. In general people don't respond to even well reasoned arguments unless there is an emotional resonance. However even with an absurd premise you can get converts if you target those with a psychology receptive to your message.

Exactly. Killing animals for food is easy to brand immoral until you consider it's a major factor in human evolution.
