Anyone on here know a lot about small engines? I've got a Husqvarna YTA22V46 riding lawn mower and the fucker will not start (if it sits for awhile) without starting fluid. It runs fine after getting it started. I thought maybe water was in the gas so I drained the tank along with the carburetor but still have the same problem.

If it wont start without starting fluid and it sits a lot without running, most likely your fuel system is all grummed up. Probably some old gasoline aids clogging a jet. Take it apart and give it a good cleaning with carb cleaner.
