Do you try to catch the 3D version when you go to the movies?

For me 3D is just an excuse to upsell and get people to spend more. There are some very visual movies that are pretty cool in 3D, especially on IMAX. But it sucks that it's not real 3D (it's stereoscopic), so you have to wear glasses.

There's now even 4D movie theaters popping out, where they squirt water on you, the seats move, and there's strobes and smoke. I tried it, and it honestly adds nothing to the movie itself. It's very distracting/annoying, and you actually lose your immersion in the movie. Plus who wants to be squirted with water when they're chillin and enjoying a movie.
I have never been to a "3D" movie that the glasses didn't mute the tones. Colors should be vivid and bright. The glasses make it seem like everything is darker than it should be.

Most 3D movies are the max action type which don't appeal to me. One movie I'd like to have seen in 3D was Gravity. I saw it in 2D and it was still great.

Gravity? Was that the Sandra bullock snooze fest?
Put me down as not surprised Sandra Bullock doesn't interest you.
I said she doesn’t interest me? Your fat must be causing low blood flow to your brain and make you unable to read things right. I said the Sandra bullock movie gravity was a snooze fest. It was a movie for science fiction fags who like boring things.
